These are the most commonly asked questions about the Mastermind Experience.

Question: I do not practice personal injury law. Is the Mastermind Experience a good fit for me?
Answer: While about 70% of our members practice plaintiff’s personal injury law, we have members in a number of practice areas, including criminal defense, immigration, estates and trusts, etc.
Our mastermind focuses on the business of law, namely, law firm management and marketing, and not the technical aspects of handling a case. If you’d like an immersion in the business of law, our mastermind will be perfect for you.

Question: I am a young lawyer and I don’t feel that I have much to offer the other members of the Mastermind Experience. Should I attend?
Answer: We LOVE having young members in our mastermind. There is nothing that gives us greater satisfaction than watching younger members take action, have success and transform their law firm into something special.
We accept young members on the condition that they are fanatical about self-improvement, willing to share everything they know with no conditions, and have no ethical or disciplinary problems.

Question: How is the Mastermind Experience different from other lawyer masterminds?
Answer: First of all, there are no recurring or periodic fees. There is one fee and if you don’t want to continue, that’s up to you.
Second, our mastermind is a one-day event. Some of our members arrive and leave on the same day. We understand you have a busy practice and can’t take a lot of time away from your law firm.
Third, we are very small and exclusive. On the day of the mastermind, our members are divided into smaller groups consisting of 8-10 lawyers, so you will be an active participant the entire day. You will be, in essence, on the “hot seat” the entire day. This is exhausting, but the best way to maximize your experience.

Question: What happens on the day of the Mastermind Experience?
Answer: The Mastermind Experience is not a seminar—it is a workshop where our members focus on creating customized solutions for the biggest challenge facing your law firm. You will be on the “hot seat”, where our members will dive deep into your challenges, give you solutions and you will benefit from the collective wisdom of our tribe.
We have special guest speakers in law firm marketing and management at every mastermind and you will have plenty of opportunity to collaborate with our members.
We have a pre-mastermind dinner on the night before the mastermind and a special post-mastermind dinner on the evening of the mastermind. All meals, including breakfast and lunch, are included in the application fee.

Question: Are there any recurring or additional fees beyond the application fee?
Answer: There is only a one-time application fee. There are no additional or recurring fees. If you’re not thrilled with the experience, we offer a 100% refund with no questions asked.

Question: Can I bring my partner, associate or marketing director to the Mastermind Experience?
Answer: You can bring a member of your law firm (e.g., partner, associate, paralegal, or marketing director) for an additional fee of $599.

Question: If I register for the Mastermind Experience, but cannot attend, is my fee refundable?
Answer: The application fee is refundable for emergencies, such as a medical emergency or a death in the family. No need to provide proof—we will accept your word. Otherwise, you will receive a full credit to a future mastermind.

Question: If a member of the Mastermind Experience already practices in my practice area and geographic region, can I still attend the mastermind?
Answer: Our members have veto power over new members. If one of our members has a conflict with a new member (for any reason), we deny access to the new member.

Question: What happens after the day of the Mastermind Experience?
Answer: The value of the mastermind occurs after the day of the mastermind.
We have a very active private Facebook group where our members collaborate and share every day. We also have a members-only website with an archive of our previous presentations, best legal forms and a membership directory. We have periodic Zoom videoconferences where our members and guest presenters share their best practices in law firm marketing and management.
Your one-time application fee gives you access to everything we got with no limitations.

Do You Qualify for the Mastermind Experience?
We are highly selective and only a few select lawyers will qualify for the Mastermind Experience.
Answer these questions to determine if you have what it takes to become a part of our tribe:
